A series of 6 lectures on the archaeology of the medieval period locally by Peter Liddle MBE – former County Archaeologist for Leicestershire - on Thursdays from 2pm – 4pm at Leicester’s Guildhall                                                                                                                       

Prior booking is useful but not essential. Attend the whole course or just come to individual lectures.

• 1st September:   Leicester, market towns and industry


• 8th September: Medieval Villages and fields


• 15th September: Catles and Manor Houses


• 22nd September: The Church: Parish churches and chapels


• 29h September: The Church: Religious Houses


• 6th October: The end of the Medieval Period                                            

Price: £30 for the series or £6 per lecture.
