Starting from Town Hall Square, off Horsefair Street, city centre
Finishing at Leicester Museum & Art Gallery, New Walk
Allow 45-60 minutes for the walk. Steady pace. Accessible.
Plus social time at the museum afterwards

This winter walk passes locations associated with some of Leicester's creative people, including writers, artists, actors and playwrights. It finishes at the museum on New Walk where walkers can check out the 'Object of the Month' and visit the Open 33, the annual art exhibition showcasing local artists, in its final week.
This is a great way to get outdoors, explore the city on foot, meet new people and discover something new. Toilets are available in the museum at the end. This short walk is suitable for most. Walking or wheeling, we hope you’ll join us!
Walks are free to attend but please book in advance as numbers are limited.
