A series of 6 lectures

A series of 6 lectures on the archaeology of the Anglo-Saxon period locally by Peter Liddle MBE –
former County Archaeologist for Leicestershire.

Prior booking is useful but not essential. You are welcome to attend the whole course or just come to individual lectures.

  May 5th: No lecture
  May 12th: Early Saxon Settlements
  May 19th: Early Saxon Burials
  May 26th: Mercian Leicestershire and Rutland
  June 2nd: No lecture
  June 9th: The Viking Invasion and the Danelaw
  June 16th: Late Saxon Leicestershire and Rutland
