What we do

If you would like to start a new creative organisation in the city or need to know where and how you can set up your own artistic practice, we may be able to support you. We provide tailored advice to help get new projects rolling or grow and develop existing organisations. Our experience ranges from working with individual practitioners, arts start-ups and large arts organisations. We are motivated to help you become the best you can be.

How we can help?

We can give you more information and advice about where you can take your project and who else in Leicester can support you, giving you a network of links to tap into. You can send us an email explaining your situation and what you are looking to do. We will respond as soon as we can.

If you are looking for financial support please see our funding pages.

Having a space to work in is essential and we can provide you with organisations to contact to find a studio space.

We have an annual arts exhibition, The Open: The People’s Exhibition, which provides all East Midlands artists and makers with an exhibition opportunity.

To contact the Arts Team please complete an enquiry form.
