Leicester Museums & Galleries in collaboration with Leicester Haymarket Shopping Centre will be opening a Pop-Up Museum during October half-term week.

The pop-up museum will open every day:

Tuesday 18th Oct - Friday 21st Oct 2022

10am - 3pm

The themes of the Pop-up will be ‘Climate Change' and celebrating Ugandan Asian culture, in support of the Rebuilding Lives: 50 Years of Ugandan Asians in Leicester exhibition, which is open now at Leicester Museum & Art Gallery.

The Pop-up will include a range of climate themed activities around food growing, real life bugs (normally found  at Leicester Museum & Art Gallery), information displays and the opportunity to play Climate Change: Global Manager, a fun and interactive touchscreen for children, young people and families to learn about the serious reality of climate change and our impact on the world.

Also come along to explore the travelling version of the Rebuilding Lives exhibition, where there will be storytelling, dressing-up, plus mask and kite making inspired by African and Indian cultures.

Join us on the ground floor level and make your Haymarket shopping visit a fun and memorable one.
