Leicester Society of Artists Annual Exhibition 2021

Description

This exhibition is the first annual exhibition by Leicester Society of Artists to be held at Newarke Houses Museum.

Founded in 1891, the society now has 140 members who live, work or study in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, including new members who joined the society in September.

The exhibition shows the most recent artworks by LSA members, not seen in Leicester before.  Expect to see paintings, original prints and graphic works, textiles, glass and 3D artworks - something for everybody to enjoy.

On every Saturday in October there are informal ‘Meet the Artists’ events at the museum where you can find out more about the artists and artwork.

23rd October, Meet the Artists: Mandeep Dhadialla & Deborah Bird

30th October, Meet the Artist: Vishal Joshi

Opening hours

Monday to Saturday 10.00am - 4pm

Sundays 11am - 4pm

Please note

No tickets are required for your visit. We can only allow a certain number of visitors into the museum at a time which may result in a socially distance queue before gaining entry.
