Boasting over 600 years of History, Leicester Guildhall is the perfect place for couples looking for a unique city wedding venue.

With two licensed ceremony rooms to choose from, along with it’s private enclosed courtyard, ceremonies and drinks receptions at Leicester Guildhall offer a secret city escape for couples and guests to enjoy.

Toast your marriage with a drinks reception in the magnificent Mayors Parlour, also ideal for small, intimate ceremonies.

Featuring original architectural details, the 14th century timber-framed Great Hall, where grand feasts were once held and Shakespeare’s players once performed on stage, can be used for larger ceremonies of up to 90 guests.

Alternatively, our Mayors Parlour room, with it’s 15th century stained glass windows, original carved fireplace and stunning oak panelled walls, offers a more intimate ceremony, with a capacity of up to 45 guests.

With our enclosed courtyard space offering a suntrap for after ceremony drinks, or the option of a cosy open fire in the Great Hall for colder months, our heritage venue is perfect all year round for your city wedding celebrations to be held.
