Leicester Society of Artists (LSA) are a society of artists working and studying in Leicestershire and Rutland. Their members represent many perspectives on art and are all practising visual artists. The LSA are committed to sharing and developing individual and original art.

They are artist-led and do not receive funding, relying on the support of its members and exhibition sponsors.

LSA exhibitions are in the heart of the city at Leicester Museum & Art Gallery. In their annual exhibitions you will find art shown for the first time in Leicester. You can also discover new directions in their smaller, themed exhibitions.

From exhibitions to lectures and artists' talks, their Council of members create the themes and install the exhibitions. The LSA have twelve Council members, each elected for a three year term, and each year four Council members are replaced, so that they benefit from both experience and new ideas.

Anyone living working or studying in Leicestershire or Rutland or with a strong connection to this area can apply for membership of Leicester Society of Artists.
