What Is the Cabinet of Curiosity?

The Cabinet of Curiosity is a travelling pop-up museum, designed to spark curiosity and conversation wherever it lands.
Packed with fascinating objects — from the familiar to the surprising — the Cabinet of Curiosity invites everyone to explore, share stories, and see local heritage up close and hands on.

“It was amazing to see a dinosaur bone in the shops in Highcross, I never expected to see that here!”
- Pop-Up Museum attendee

Keep an eye out for a Pop-Up or Doorstep Museum event near you! We host the Pop-Up Museum in Highcross and Beaumont Leys Shopping Centres and at many different city festivals throughout the year – keep an eye out for our stall.

The Doorstep Museum is the next step in taking the museum beyond its walls. It’s about building deeper connections in neighbourhoods, sharing stories, and celebrating the heritage and creativity that exists in our communities.
