Steeped in memories and local history, this box celebrates the varied and specialised industries that put Leicester on the map and made it the city it is today. From shoemaking to snacks, and from typewriters to travel, these original objects, images and documents will help children to understand Leicester’s industrial heritage and how it connects to our lives today.

The box is available to collect from Leicester Museum & Art Gallery and costs £55.00 for a two-week loan.
