See and touch Museum artefacts! Free family friendly event

Travel through time with Leicester Museum and Art Galleries’ ‘Cabinet of Curiosity’. The free pop-up museum is coming to Belgrave Neighbourhood Centre on Friday 23rd October 2026 (11:00 – 16:00).

Free - drop-in, no ticket needed!

Come along and get hands-on with museum objects, from dinosaur bones and a taxidermy caiman to Roman pottery and a typewriter.

You can also chat to museum staff about the objects, take part in arts and crafts activities and meet Prince Amir, the meerkat, and his camel, Nazreddin.
