Your guide, Cynthia Brown is a local historian and author of several books on the history of Leicester, including Wharf Street Revisited and Leicester Voices. She has contributed articles to the Leicestershire Historian on such varied subjects as hot air ballooning, cardboard box manufacture and the Charnwood Street area of the city.
