Event Description
An all day workshop with local artist Mandeep Dhadialla
Create a sketchbook inspired by Mary Linwood’s use of a scrapbook and her embroidery works, as well as from Ruth Singer’s exhibition pieces.
We’ll make a hand-bound pamphlet stitch sketchbook and creatively combine collage, colour, texture, pattern and mark-making filling the pages with mixed media including staining papers with natural handmade pigments, drawing with found objects, stitch and layering.
All materials are provided. This workshop is suitable for any level.
