FREE Introduction to Metal Detecting with Leicester City in the Community!
Please join us for a day of introductory metal detecting workshops at Abbey Pumping Station. The workshop will include hands-on experience with metal detectors and expert volunteers will be on hand to discuss the objects found and talk about the historic cultures of Leicester. No previous experience necessary.
Outdoor clothing appropriate for the weather is advised. The event will take place on uneven grassed land
Maximum capacity for each workshop is 15, and all ages and abilities are welcome.

*Please note that there are 15 spaces on each session. There are six sessions lasting 40 minutes at the following times:
- 11am -11.40am - SOLD OUT
- 11:45am – 12:25pm - SOLD OUT
- 12.30pm - 1.10pm
- 2pm– 2:40pm
- 2:45 pm- 3:25pm
- 3:30pm – 4:10pm
