Event Description

Visit Abbey Pumping Station and ride on Leonard the Steam Locomotive!

Visit Abbey Pumping Station for a fun filled day and enjoy a ride on the "Leonard" the Steam Locomotive.

Bring your teddy along for the ride and be inspired by a huge collection of Meccano with modellers of all ages, building models large and small.

The Railway will be running for just £1 per ride on the day.

Entry to the museum and grounds is free plus the café will be open for light refreshments.

Please note: all children must be accompanied by an adult on the train rides. If you require any assistance please speak to a member of staff.

Event Parking: Parking is located at the National Space Centre situated next to the museum. The Space Centre car park is on Exploration Drive, post code LE4 5NS. The walkway entrance to Abbey Pumping Station is clearly signposted next to the car park.
