A new gallery and exhibition called Leicester Stories is being developed on the ground floor of Leicester Museum and Art Gallery. It will focus on the stories and voices of people living in Leicester today – from the 1950s onwards – and will open in Spring 2022.

The exhibition is being created with a Co-production Group of people from Leicester who are developing the exhibition themes and content, and will feedback on the design. They will be supported by a team as follows:

Leicester Stories Film – Casting Call

ImageNova, a local film company, have been commissioned to create a film for the Leicester Stories Gallery. This will depict moments from the last 70 years of the city’s history using archive and new film. ImageNova are looking for volunteers to feature in the new film which will be recorded in early 2022.
