A new gallery and exhibition called Leicester Stories is being developed on the ground floor of Leicester Museum and Art Gallery. It will focus on the stories and voices of people living in Leicester today – from the 1950s onwards – and will open in Spring 2022.

The exhibition is being co-produced with focus groups of people from Leicester who will develop the exhibition themes and content, and feedback on the design. They will be supported by a team as follows:

  • Leicester City Council Co-producer: Angela Robinson
  • Leicester City Council Project Manager: Clare Hudson
  • Commissioned Poet: Jess Green
  • Project Photographer: Leonie DuBarry-Gurr
  • Exhibition design & build company: to be confirmed
