Tell-Tale presents Uncle Richard

Tell-Tale presents Uncle Richard

1502…after the death of his elder brother, the Prince of Wales, an eleven year old Henry VIII  has a great deal to learn about his ancestors if he is ever to become King.

When the young Prince begins to question the few survivors of the Wars of the Roses, including his mother, Elizabeth of York, he discovers that when it comes to her uncle, Richard III, no two tellings of the tale ever seem to be quite the same.

Originally commissioned for Leicester Guildhall and Museums to mark the reinterment of King Richard III in 2015, Uncle Richard has received critical acclaim and continued to tour historical venues and arts centres from the RSC to the Isle of Wight.

“A massive hit…engaging and inspiring storytelling…don’t miss out on this Plantagenet masterclass.”
Ludlow Fringe Festival

As an audience member, find your place in the Plantagenet family tree, as young Harry tries to piece together the mystery of the disappearance of the two princes in the Tower.

Tell-Tale Presents are compulsive story-tellers with an obsession for all things historical.  Their plays combine careful research and wit with a healthy dose of silliness to make every performance a shared experience not to be missed.
