A pop-up exhibition celebrating and reflecting on Queen Elizabeth II’s association with Leicester.

Visit Leicester’s Guildhall to see a temporary exhibition that include information and photographs; on display from Sunday the 11th of September 2022 until the end of the national period of mourning.

Archive images, factual accounts and the people of Leicester’s memories of the much loved monarch’s visits to the city of Leicester and the county of Leicestershire adorn the exhibition panels which cover each decade of the Queen’s public life from the 1930’s to the present.

The exhibition was created by the Record Office for Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland and is hosted by Leicester Museums & Galleries.
